Do you have a story you'd like to get on TV, but don't know how to pitch it?
Join The Detroit Writing Room for a Speakers Series on July 21 at 7:30 p.m. EST. Local journalists from the top Detroit networks will share their tips and best practices for pitching a business, nonprofit or personal story to a local news station. You'll learn what makes a good pitch for TV and mistakes to avoid.
The virtual event will be moderated by Jennifer Ann Wilson of WXYZ Channel 7. She'll be joined by Roop Raj of Fox 2 Channel 2 and Evrod Cassimy of WDIV Channel 4. They'll share how they got started in their careers and some of their favorite pitches they've covered along the way.
Come get your pitching questions answered during a Q&A!
