The theme for my pictures was landscaping and things around nature, including trees, flowers or the sky. I chose this theme because taking pictures of nature always had my interest, and I felt like a lot of the times you go outside and today we are so busy and distracted that we don’t get to really experience and embrace the beauty of nature that is right in front of us. My goal for my pictures was to shoot things that are very overlooked and something that you would walk right past and not pay much attention to, but it really has beauty too once you stop and look. A camera technique that I used was getting a good foreground but putting the main part of the image in focus. I also got very close to what I was shooting, then blurred the background while putting the main parts of the image in focus. I feel like this camp has helped me learn much more about cameras and how to shoot better pictures. I also loved how helpful, informational and fun this program was.
